Serving Brevard County Moms and Babies for a generation.

Mom and Baby Yoga

Moms with babies, Newborn – 2 years old have been meeting on Wednesday mornings since February 2002 to stretch, strengthen, and celebrate our mama bodies, and to bond with our babies through yoga, dance, and song!

Come join us. Make friends that will last a lifetime, and model healthy exercise habits for your little one. Whatever they see us doing, babies want to do themselves as they develop the ability, so put down the internet, and let’s MOVE our bodies in healthy ways!

Prenatal Yoga

Stretch, Strenthen, Relax, and prepare for birth and parenting. Class is appropriate during the 2nd and 3rd trimesters of pregnancy.

Prenatal yoga is designed specifically for the changing pregnant body.

We also offer partners classes about once every 2-3 months when husband/boyfriend/best friend/doula/sister, or whoever will be your primary support person at your birth, can come along to learn some great ways to support you during your preganacy and birthing experience.

Please check with your doctor or midwife before starting prenatal yoga or any new exercise routine while pregnant.

Parent Child Yoga

Preschoolers LOVE yoga! Parents and kids learn and practice together in our Parent-Child Yoga class for ages 2.5-6 years.

Moms tell me all the time, “Wow! I really needed this. I haven’t moved like this in a long time. I feel so relaxed!”

After 6 weeks or so, the kids come in knowing A LOT and are even able to take some leadership in class.

Coming Soon

Watch here for yoga for older kids and adults coming soon at a local dance school. That’s all we can say for now!

What Is Mom and Baby Yoga?

Through conscious movement of breath and body, Yoga gives us a total body/mind work-out. It allows us to focus the mind and release tension while increasing strength, flexibility, and range of motion.

This is an opportunity to connect with our babies and with our deeper selves, and to develop a sense of unity and community with other moms and babies.

What is Prenatal Yoga?

Prenatal yoga is designed for the changing pregnant body, unlike traditional yoga classes that involve postures that can be inappropriate during pregnancy.

Fosters confidence and trust in the natural ability of your body to give birth

What can I expect in class?

Stress reduction

A special time to bond with your child

Increased strength and flexibility

Supportive community of engaging moms

Classes will resume in the future.

For Prenatal Yoga, we offer a sliding scale all the way to FREE in cases of financial hardship. No questions asked. Don’t have the money? Just pay what you can when you can. I would always rather a mom come to Prenatal Yoga and not pay than not come because she can’t pay.
