Brevard Hunts Ongoing Scavenger Hunt Game Social

This will be a fun event for the kids. What an exciting way to end summer. You hide prizes throughout Wickham Park, and whoever finds it, gets to keep it. Anybody can play, and keep as many prizes as you can find as long as you hide some prizes of your own. Think Ft. Wilderness Scavenger Hunt or look it up here to see how's it's done.

What to hide
Buy some toys/books, anything and any price you’d like. Some people will do goodie bags of party favors, some will do a $1 store toy, others might more expensive gifts. There’s no wrong here.
Hiding items
Keep it kid friendly since that is the main audience. Hide anywhere in Brevard county that is safe to find. Example, a good place is on a playground or park, not on the side of the road. Make sure it’s a spot that’s safe to get to on foot. Once you item is hidden, take a clear close up picture of what it is, and then a far away picture so we have a hint of what area to go look for it. Also make sure to include the city you hid it in on your post. You can also add a caption for more hints. Example “You’ll find me at a Melbourne park with a blue slide”.
Labeling your items
You can place small items in clear bags if you’d like. Please label everything with “Brevard Hunts” “Find us on Facebook” so we can grow our community, and have more people participate in this ongoing game. You can use your own label, write on it, or use ours which is available in the files folder.
Finding items
Once you find an item, please comment on the original post that the item has been found. If you get to the location, and the prize is gone, and there’s no comment, please still comment that the item is gone. This helps people from needless searching.
