 ymphony Orchestra presents another installment of Once Upon an Orchestra in
  partnership with the Vero Beach Art Museum. Designed for preschool and kin
 dergarten aged children, the 45-minute story time will feature members of t
 he string family, including the violin, viola, and cello. The Princess and 
 the Pea is a literary fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. It is a story 
 about a princess who is tested to become wife to a lonely prince. In this w
 ork, the tale is presented by a narrator, with the string quartet bringing 
 the story to life in a musical way. There are many features in this work th
 at are sure to interest audiences of all ages. Different motifs are used to
  differentiate between characters and settings. This selection also feature
 s the use of props.\nFollowing this special performance, join us for a chan
 ce to try out the instruments of the string family, act out your favorite c
 haracter from the story, and pose as a musician in our symphonic photo boot
