 e Rotary Club’s 20th Annual Great Tastes at Suntree fundraiser at our new a
 ir-conditioned venue – The Oasis at Palm Shores in the Space Coast Associat
 ion of Realtors building at the corner of Pineda Plaza Way and Wickham Road
 , Palm Shores.\n\nDuring the evening you will be treated to delicious culin
 ary samplings from a variety of local restaurants as they prepare their cho
 ice of menu items for you to taste - entrees, appetizers and desserts. Some
  of the restaurants participating so far include Fiesta Azteca, Fresh Marke
 t, Grills Riverside, Metro Diner, Urban Prime, Perkins, Shells of Melbourne
 , and 321-Popcorn. These restaurants compete in contests for best-decorated
  booth, and best food including the People’s Choice Award – so be sure to s
 top at each table and vote for your favorite.\n\nIn addition to the great f
 ood and great live music you can also try your luck with our tremendous gif
 t baskets and 50/50 raffles. There will be a variety of themed gift baskets
  for you to pick and choose. Purchase raffle tickets and place them in the 
 bucket of whichever basket you want to try to win! The 50/50 raffle is wher
 e the winning ticket holder gets half the money in the pot.\n\nThis fundrai
 sing event will help raise money for two local programs: The Boys & Girls C
 lub of Temple Terrace and Neighbor Up Brevard. The Boys & Girls Club has 40
  Clubs in six counties and serves the children who need us the most. The cl
 ubs are located in neighborhoods that, on average, rank at the 12th percent
 ile for household income and the 71st percentile for incarceration rates. C
 lub families pay either nothing or a nominal fee for their children to atte
 nd. By providing our Club members with academic support, extracurricular op
 portunities, and positive adult role models, we aim to break the cycle of p
 overty for future generations.\n\n\nThe other organization that will be sup
 ported with this year’s event is Neighbor Up Brevard which has been helping
  to create lasting change in marginalized communities for over 20 years. Th
 eir approach to community development emphasizes community ownership, empow
 erment, and development. Programs include:\n- The DOCK - a safe haven for s
 chool-aged children after school and during the summer break\n- Greater Hei
 ghts Apartment Community - affordable rental housing for working families a
 nd seniors\n- Gifts From The Heart Christmas Shop - a dignity-affirming hol
 iday shopping experience for families served by a coalition of local servic
