SUMMARY:SOAK Play Project

DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:The PLAY Project stands for play and language autistic youngsters. The prog
 ram was designed and directed by Dr. Richard Solomon. It is an evidence bas
 ed, intensive early intervention program generally intended for children be
 tween 15 months of age to six years old. The program has proven to be benef
 icial for children with an autism diagnosis, those with suspected autism an
 d children who have concerns with communication and social interaction. Thi
 s is a train the trainer model, which means that parents will be trained by
  PLAY Project Consultants. The program is designed to help children improve
  or resolve the three core deficits of autism which are self-isolation, lan
 guage and communication delays or impairment and stereotyped or repetitive 
 behaviors. Parents will learn a bit more about that the intervention is, so
 me of the key principles of the PLAY project and how it can be beneficial. 
 I have two consultants who recently completed the intensive training, and w
 e are currently accepting referrals for The PLAY Project. Families who may
