 arks & Recreation will highlight Florida's threatened gopher tortoise and i
 ts important role in the ecosystem. Guests can explore educational displays
 , build keystone arch blocks, play a "What Lives in a Burrow?" game, and cr
 eate their own gopher tortoise headband. Additionally, the Melbourne City E
 co Division will share information about how environmental factors, includi
 ng water quality and litter, affect local wildlife. Their interactive activ
 ities will include coloring pages and books, as well as a fun recycling gam
 e that reinforces environmental stewardship. <br /><br />The Brevard Zoo wi
 ll also be on-site to present "Adaptations," exploring whether survival is 
 a matter of fitness or nature's unique design. Through biofacts, guests wil
 l discover the adaptations animals use to escape predators, become skilled 
 hunters, and survive in some of the world's harshest environments.<br /><br
  />Melbourne Square’s Kids Club is a free monthly program designed for chil
 dren 12 and under to spark laughter, creativity, and memorable family momen
