 11-14 years<br />No previous art experience is necessary. Creative Connecti
 ons welcomes both beginning and experienced young artists who are ready to 
 explore, experiment, and discover where their creativity can take them. Age
  exceptions may be considered at the instructors discretion.<br />Creative 
 Connections is an engaging art experience designed specifically for middle 
 school students who are ready to move beyond basic art projects and begin e
 xploring artistic techniques, materials, and creative decision-making in gr
 eater depth.<br />Students will experiment with a wide variety of mediums, 
 including acrylic and watercolor painting, drawing, pastels, clay, printmak
 ing, collage, scratchboard, mixed media, and three-dimensional art. Through
  guided projects and open-ended creative challenges, students will learn ne
 w techniques while discovering how different materials can be combined and 
 used to communicate their own ideas and individual style.
