Magic Dove Cocoa Village-Youth Magic Summer Camp

Give your child a magical experience they will never forget. Magic Dove Magic Shop has been conducting magic camps in Cocoa Village since the summer of 2006. Dr. Dan The Magic Man has been a magician for over 30 years and has created the summer camp curriculum specifically to enhance children's self-confidence and social skill development. Dr. Dan’s primary career as a university professor for the past 25 years, preparing pre-service teachers, has given him the unique ability to design a curriculum with learning outcomes that focus on social skill development that is fun and engaging. Dr. Dan’s “Believe in the Magic of Kindness” show will be part of the entertainment lineup. Again this year we have several award-winning magicians who will be providing entertainment. Each day the children learn and perform magic in preparation for the Friday, 5pm magic show that is open to the public. This is where the summer camp participants get to show off the various magic skills they gained at magic camp. The summer camp includes a magic kit, 3 Magic Dove Tee Shirts, daily lunch and snacks, and a magic show each day. Certificates will be awarded to document the magic skills learned. In addition, at least one lesson in the basic technique in juggling and one lesson in balloon art will be added as a special bonus.
