There are so many wonderful and fun things to do here in the Space Coast that involve being in, on or around water. Because of this, it is so much more important to be sure that everyone in your family can swim well, especially children. 321 Swim Academy was started right here in Brevard County.
Our mission is to help our community learn to swim and stay safe around water.
Our instructors teach fundamental aquatic skills and water safety for all ages as early as 6 months. Our goal is to teach you to swim well and enjoy the water safely!
We offer private swim lessons in your home or community pool and group lessons at various locations around Brevard County.
Classes include 8 lessons for 30-minutes each.
Our experienced and dedicated instructors are devoted to offering high-quality, customized swim lessons. Focused on water safety, boosting confidence, and tailoring instruction to individual needs, our team strives to ensure that your swimming journey is both gratifying and fulfilling.
Whether you're a beginner or just looking to refine your technique, our instructors are equipped to meet your needs.
The Tadpole levels will increase your child’s confidence in the water, and begin to get them more comfortable moving about independently. They will learn respect for the water and their limitations in it.
For the parent, you will be taught many ways to interact safely with your child in the water and help them build their aquatic skills beyond play time.
ALL Tadpole levels are taught as a parent-child course and requires a parent or guardian to be in the water with a child for the duration of the lesson.
In the Shark levels, children will learn independently with the instructor without the parent in the water.
Children will enhance their aquatic abilities through repetition and learn to enjoy the water. They will learn many things including open water swimming, back floats, and rhythmic breathing.
They will become comfortable submerging under water and swimming independently. These levels will prepare your child for more advanced swimming in later levels.
Children will also learn water safety topics and practice emergency scenarios that will help save their life.
In the Dolphin levels, your child will master the basics of swimming, competitive strokes, back floats, treading water, basic water rescue in a pool environment and become comfortable swimming across deeper water for long distances.
They will learn all 6 strokes; Front Crawl, Back Crawl, Elementary Back Stroke, Side Stroke, Breast Stroke, and Butterfly.
They will know all their water safety information and be able to use the pool safety equipment to extract a distressed swimmer from the pool.
These classes address various needs, whether it is learning to swim, gaining confidence in open water environments, refining stroke techniques, or perfecting aquatic skills.
Teen & Adult classes are a total of 5 lessons comprising of 4 sessions for 45-minutes and 1 session for 1-hour.
Whether you need to learn to swim, feel confident in open water or the ocean, or simply improve strokes development and aquatic skills. We offer classes for open ocean swimming as well.
321 Swim Academy was started right here in Brevard County. Owner and operator Niki Mabin opened 321 Swim Academy because she wanted to help the community learn to swim and stay safe around water. At 321 Swim Academy all of our swim instructors are CPR certified, licensed and insured. We are also proud members of the National Drowning Prevention Alliance (NDPA).
