For over 400 years, Shakespeare’s plays have enthralled, moved, and enriched each new generation of readers and theatergoers. This program builds the skills that allow you to reach your own understanding and deeply comprehend Shakespeare’s transcendent poetic language, the spellbinding world of his great characters and stories. Students will perform two of his famous plays, a comedy & a tragedy:
A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM (30 minute version)
ROMEO AND JULIET (30 minute version)
For students in 9th-12th grades.
