The arts play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities, offering avenues for self-expression, personal growth, social interaction, and advocacy. Each year, our dedicated team at BAC strives to provide enriching artistic experiences and educational programs to this deserving community.

Since 2013, BAC has proudly hosted our Performing Arts Showcase at the Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts. This remarkable event is free to the public and features talented middle and high school Exceptional Student Education (ESE) students from Brevard’s public and private schools, along with adults with disabilities from BAC’s Adult Day Training program. Over eight weeks, these artists collaborate with visiting professionals to present dance, theater, and musical performances.

Together We S.O.A.R.
This year's showcase, carries the theme “Together We S.O.A.R. – Saving Our Aquatic Resources". Through a unique eight-week program, professional artists collaborate with students to create performances that raise awareness about environmental stewardship and blend the arts with science to create a purposeful experience for everyone.
