Ring bells! Bang the drums! Are you gonna love this exciting stage adaptation of the legendary tale of the lovable thief with the heart of gold! For one night only on Saturday, February 10, 2024, join Aladdin, Jasmine, and the fast-talking, wisecracking Genie as they discover mystical caves, take magic carpet rides, and outwit the evil sorcerer, Jafar. Performed by youth from Florida Preparatory Academy, Disney’s Aladdin, JR will premiere for the first time at the Gleason Performing Arts Center in Melbourne, Florida.
Aladdin is a 1992 animated musical comedy film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation, released by Walt Disney Pictures and in 2011, produced on Broadway as a musical. Aladdin, JR, adapted especially for young performers from the Broadway featured musical, includes favorite Alan Menken songs such as “Friend Like Me,” “A Whole New World,” and “Prince Ali,” as well as wonderful new songs added for the Broadway production. With new, colorful characters and non stop adventure, Disney’s Aladdin JR. is sure to be a crowd-pleaser for all ages!
