Bass Pro Shop: Live Fish Feedings and Allgators/Hogs

We have many different kinds of native fish in our 16,000 gallon aquarium. You will see everything from Large and Small Mouth Bass, Reds, Crappy, Bowfin and Catfish. This is no ordinary aquarium, the three running waterfalls and natural wildlife among the boulders are sure to create an action packed visit. Watch our pros demonstrate some of our new products and their effectiveness, techniques and much more while they feed the fish every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 1:00PM. Watch out, you might be called up as an assistant!

As you crossover our handmade bridge we invite you to take a few moments to view some Native Florida alligators in our expansive visual habitat. We have 11! See if you can spot all of them! In the wild, alligators live primarily in wetlands. We have recreated the most lifelike wetland environment as this is key for their survival.

As you exit the store, you will see our pen of wild hogs. “Donald” is our largest hog and is a male, “Anya” is our adult female and the babies are named “Gilligan and Ginger”. In the wild hogs usually travel in small family groups and are omnivorous which means they eat all kinds of foods including plants and animals. Hogs prefer to live near cabbage palm hammocks, freshwater marshes and flat woods.
