Tour de Turtles Public Sea Turtle Release

You're invited to join the Sea Turtle Conservancy on Sunday, August 2 in the heart of the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge (FL) as we attach satellite transmitters to two adult sea turtles and release them back to the sea as part of our Tour de Turtles migration marathon!
This event is FREE and open to the public! Parking is available at the Doc Ehrhart Sanctuary / Barrier Island Center, Bonsteel Park or along A1A. We recommend arriving around 7:00 am. **Due to the extreme heat expected, turtles will be released around 8 am.

There will also be fun, family-friendly educational activities and free giveaways. Event t-shirts will be for sale.
