Plant Walk: Canaveral National Seashore

PLANT WALKS - THURSDAY Jan. 9, 16, 23, and 30
Join us every Thursday for a walk to identify the plants of Canaveral National Seashore and find out how they have been utilized over the years. Each walk is led by an experienced volunteer and covers a different part of the park. Please bring water for hydration and wear shoes for trail walking. (Activity duration: 2 hours).
The walks in January will be as follows:
1. Jan. 9 - Turtle Mound: Meet at 9:45 a.m. Use the Turtle Mound parking area or parking lot #1 and walk down.
2. Jan. 16 - Eldora House: Meet at 9:45 a.m. at parking lot #7.
3. Jan. 23 – Loop Trail: Meet at 9:45 a.m. at parking lot #8.
4. Jan. 30 - Castle Windy: Meet at 9:45 a.m. at parking lot #3 (ocean side).
