MLK Commemoration - Community Event

Join the Florida Tech Office of Advancement, the Florida Tech Alumni Association, and the Black Student Union as we reflect on the transformative power of courage and community. The same spirit ignited the Montgomery Bus Boycott and propelled Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. into history as a champion for justice and equality.

This evening of commemoration will celebrate Dr. King’s unwavering commitment to civil rights and his vision of a world united in dignity and peace.
Experience a live rendition of the iconic “I Have a Dream” speech, moving musical performances, and inspiring speakers who will remind us why Dr. King’s message still matters today.

We will also honor two outstanding community members whose service continues to advance equity and opportunity in Brevard County.
