Once Upon a Mattress is a comedic musical retelling of "The Princess and the Pea," where the marriage-ban-obsessed Queen Aggravain prevents her son, Prince Dauntless, from marrying until a suitable princess is found. When the pregnant Lady Larken's lover, Sir Harry, brings the boisterous Princess Winnifred to the kingdom, the Queen devises a seemingly impossible "Sensitivity Test": a pea under 20 mattresses. Winnifred passes the test, charming Dauntless and breaking the marriage ban, a feat that also breaks a curse on the mute King and lifts the Queen's power.
Shows October 10th at 7PM, Saturday October 11 at 2PM and 7PM and Sunday at 2PM.
