Marine Resources Council: Litter Sweeps

As we are committed to leaving a cleaner world behind, we host a property cleanup on the first Friday of every month to remove trash from along the highways and trail system.
Litter Patrol volunteers pick up trash along the Lagoon House/City of Palm Bay property line on US-1, on-property walking trails, and around our stormwater pond.
This volunteer opportunity is available for students ages 6 and up with parent or guardian supervision. Email to sign up.

Volunteers should be prepared to be in the Florida heat and humidity. Hats, water, sunscreen (or UPF clothing), and close-toed shoes are required. Gloves, trash bags, and trash pickers are provided, There is a bathroom, water fountain, and building with AC on site for breaks.
