April is Month of the Military Child, did you know that? AVET Project, an all-volunteer 501(c)(3)nonprofit, is thrilled to announce the 1st Heroes For Military Kids 5K/Kids Dash.
This heartfelt event honors veterans, active-duty service members, and especially their children, while raising awareness and support for healing military families. These families sacrifice immensely to safeguard our freedoms—now it's our chance to give back, helping them and their loved ones find renewed strength and healing. Supporting this event means military families get free events and life-changing programs that help them thrive.
Military kids face unique challenges including frequent moves, parental deployments, and long separations. The Heroes for Military Kids event highlights their sacrifices while raising funds to support programs that uplift and empower them.
