Port St. John Library: Crafting for a Cause

  • When: Saturday, January 24, 2026, 12:00 pm -  5:00 pm
  • Location: 6500 Carole Ave, Cocoa , FL 32927
  • Cost: Free

Enjoy a relaxed, welcoming afternoon of creativity and connection! Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver at all times. This is not a drop-off event, and caregivers must remain on-site with their child for the duration of their visit. Adults are welcome to craft alongside their child or remain with them while the child creates.
Bring whatever you enjoy creating—sewing machines, Cricut projects, crochet or knitting, card-making, bracelets, bookmarks, drawing, painting, or any other craft you love. If you have supplies to bring for your own project, that would be wonderful. Some basic supplies including yarn for crocheting or knitting will be provided.
There will be a drawing and coloring table for all ages, along with a simple activity table for anyone who would like to stop in for a short time to create something meaningful for a chronically ill child.

All items created will support Tyler’s Dream, a nonprofit serving children diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and Syringomyelia.
