Brevard Zoo: Invasive Plant Removal/Native Plant Planting

Take action for our local wildlife and environment as part of Brevard Zoo’s Party for the Planet celebration! Join us this spring for invasive plant removal to help make a difference in our community.
All participants need to be at least 5 years old. No one under 5 can participate. This is not a drop off event. An adult is required.
This is a free event, but registration is required.
After your hard work, we’ll enjoy some snacks and light refreshments as we document our findings. Each participant will take home their own pair of gardening gloves to keep the action going beyond this event. We’ll also have a small selection of native plant giveaways. To help us prepare for the day, pre-registration is required.
P.S. We are happy to sign off on volunteer hours. Please see your organization or school for the necessary forms.
Meet at gate No. 4 in the Zoo's North Parking Lot. Please bring
a reusable water bottle, sun protection and bug spray.
