Celebrate World Turtle Day with a hands-on adventure at Brevard Zoo!

Explore veterinary care, discover how habitats are built, meet resident turtles and uncover the fascinating adaptations that help these animals thrive.

Activities:

• Paper Turtle Craft – Create your own paper turtle to take on a journey of recovery.
• VetPlay Animal Hospital – Learn about X-rays, animal care and medicine and how our veterinarians take care of turtle patients.
• Habitat Build – Discover how enrichment, healthy diets and the right materials can create a proper habitat for turtles at the Zoo.
• Chats and Training Demonstrations – Meet some of the Zoo’s resident turtles.
• Turtle Drop-Off and Biofacts – Return your paper turtle to its home and learn how turtles thrive in the natural range using unique adaptations.
