Butterfly Appreciation Day

The 2026 Butterfly Appreciation Day will be hosted by the Merritt Island Wildlife Association and Brevard Discovery Garden. This year’s speakers will share an exciting new lineup of information about butterflies, pollinators, and creating habitats that support them. The Butterfly Appreciation Day will conclude with a guided walk through the Brevard Discovery Garden, where participants will identify and count butterflies throughout the garden.
Admission is free, but we ask attendees to register through Eventbrite to assist with planning. A suggested $5 donation to the Brevard Discovery Garden on the day of the event is appreciated and helps support the garden’s ongoing educational programs and maintenance.
