Battle of the Causeways

Due to the increasing volume of debris littering State Road 528 (SR 528), Keep Brevard Beautiful (KBB) will host the Battle of the Causeways on Saturday, Feb 17th, at 8 AM. SR 528 serves as an entrance to Brevard County’s beaches and is home to the wildlife treasured by residents and visitors.
Registration will take place at Kelly Park East at 7:30am. Following a safety briefing, volunteers will split into teams to collect trash on the east and west causeways. The KBB team will be aiding with trash pickup and keeping track of which team removes the most pollution. The winning team will get a prize!
With the support of Port Canaveral, KBB can conduct large-scale community improvement projects like the Battle of the Causeways. The beatification of SR 528 is an ongoing mission that KBB would not be able to tackle without the help of our dedicated volunteers. Come help fight the dirty fight of keeping Brevard beautiful.
