Samsons Island Open House

Experience Satellite Beach’s 52-acre island nature preserve! Explore the preserve’s trails & enjoy a free boat ride. Ongoing event activities include conservation education, guided walks, bird watching and more! FREE city boat transportation between 9:30am-2pm will run every 15-20 minutes to and from the island. No pre-registration required! The last ferry will leave the mainland to bring guests to the island at 1pm, and all guests will meet at the main island dock to return to the mainland no later than 2pm.

Ferries will leave from the city dock behind the Dennis M. Sams building on the corner of South Patrick Drive and Cassia Blvd, located at 1390 South. Patrick Drive, Satellite Beach. ADA parking is available onsite, and non-ADA parking will be across the street at the Scotty Culp Municipal Complex/City hall at 565 Cassia Blvd.
