The Rotary Park Nature Center Homeschool Program Saplings

Do you have a child age 10-14? The Rotary Park Nature Center has launched a new homeschool program for older learners, designed to educate students on more complex nature and science themes and higher-level skills such as critical thinking and reading, problem-solving, and working with experimental data. Adults and non-participating siblings are welcome; only paid participants will receive class materials. Class times are 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM. Class Dates are:
- October 23 & 29, 2025: The Neuroendocrine System
- November 13 & 19, 2025: Nature’s Engineers
- December 11 & 17, 2025: Smart Suckers - Cephalopods
- January 15 & 21, 2026: Science of the Senses
- February 12 & 18, 2026: Decoding Crypsis
- March 12 & 18, 2026: Prescribed Fire
- April 9 & 15, 2026: Plant Pigments
- May 6, 2026: (final class) Patterns in Nature
