
Youth Track and Field Campers will
learn proper techniques and mechanics for running,
jumping, and throwing. Campers will be assigned to
a color-coded team and given a t-shirt (team t-shirts
are included with registration fee). The sessions will
incorporate dynamic warm up drills and exercise
techniques. Campers will practice strength, speed, and
endurance training. Each day, athletes will learn specific
methodology that applies to track and field events. Our
campers will take breaks every 15 minutes in the shade
to cool down and rehydrate. We eat our lunch in the
air-conditioned portable while watching a movie. After
lunch, we do another dynamic warm-up and then play
field games. The camp concludes with a fun track and
field competition where individuals and teams compete
against one another for prizes (spectators are welcome).
