Youth Hike (Turkey Creek Sanctuary) 9-10AM:
Discover the Wonders of Turkey Creek! Celebrate Kids to Parks Day with a FREE guided Youth Nature Hike! Join a Park Ranger at the Nature Center for a fun and educational walk through the sanctuary's trails and boardwalk. Learn about the amazing plants and animals that call Turkey Creek home. The hike will last about an hour. Recommended: Sturdy shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, water, a snack, binoculars, and a hat.
Kids to Parks Day Celebration (Fred Poppe Regional Park) 10AM-2PM:
Bounce City will be providing awesome inflatables, Kona Ice will be keeping everyone cool with FREE shaved ice, and we'll have even more activities to keep the kids entertained. Kids to Parks Day is a national initiative encouraging families to connect with nature.
Palm Bay Pool Bash (Palm Bay Aquatic Center) 12PM-4PM
Enjoy FREE open swimming all day. It's the perfect way to celebrate the outdoors and cool off with the kids. (Capacity at the center is 200, first-come, first-served.) Wassi Ice will be on hand with frozen treats available for purchase.
