A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held for the grand opening of the Parrish Park Trailhead. All are invited to attend.
The eastern-most portion of Titusville’s Parrish Park, known as the Parrish Park Trailhead, is now re-open to the public. The trailhead is part of the larger East Central Regional Rail Trail which is Brevard County’s portion of the Florida Coast-to-Coast Trail. Renovations to the trailhead include:
- Trailhead parking with an ADA access ramp and stairs to the beach. This provides access to the shoreline for non-motorized vessels including kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, kite surfing and rafts.
- Improved storm water with an underground arch system.
- Additional parking and sidewalks for beach and trail access, lined with LED lighting.
- Protective railing and a bollard wall.
- Landscaping with up lighted palm trees.
