Flatwoods Farm Summer Camp

• Safety meeting Monday mornings for new
campers
• Grooming, tacking, untacking, bathing of
horses
• English, Western, and Bareback riding sessions
• Daily riding with the exception of extreme
weather
• Alternative lesson plans include unmounted
horsemanship lessons, groundwork lessons,
indoor lessons in horse care, nutrition, first aid,
and more
• Lunch hour (student provided bagged lunch);
barn provided pizza on Fridays
• Guest speakers during certain weeks (to be
announced)
• Daily choice of afternoon arts & crafts, horse
movies, games, reading, etc
