Join Sea Turtle Conservancy's Dr. Dan Evans, Senior Research Biologist, and Sarah Rhodes-Ondi, M.S., Community Stewardship Coordinator at the Barrier Island Ecosystem Center, on the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge for a Virtual Turtle Walk. Learn characteristics of the three main sea turtle species nesting in the Carr Refuge, threats to their survival, and how you can help ensure their survival. Connect with a loggerhead turtle by observing her nesting as she lays her eggs on the most important nesting beach for loggerheads in the world. There will also be time for Q&A with our turtle experts. This is a one-hour webinar which requires pre-registration. The $5 donation requested supports Sea Turtle Conservancy's work at the Barrier Island Center.
