Summer Reading Program: Merritt Island Library

Every Monday, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM, in the Merritt Island Library Auditorium, 1195 N. Courtenay Parkway, Merritt Island
Kick off the week at Merritt Island Library! Tickets are required for entry, and can be picked up a week in advance at the Youth Services Desk. Performances are 1 hour long, and are for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
June 5: Mad Science - Olympics Library Show! Start Summer Reading off with a bang! On your mark, get set, SCIENCE! On this fun romp through the Olympics, learn about Newton's laws of motion as you experience our Mad Science Tug of War, the Server Olympics, and the Bucket of Terror!
June 12: Gator Bill! - Turtles, snakes, and gators - oh my! Need we say more? Come see our friend Gator Bill Robb and his reptilian friends! Learn about the critters of Brevard County.
June 19: Brevard Waste Management! - Meet our friend RC, the recycling cat! Learn how to work together to take care of our environment by recycling!
June 26: Big Idea - Friendship Factory! Mr. Keith and Snapper are back with us this summer, ready to make friends - one smile at a time! Mr. Keith truly believes in the value of reading and he loves to use his magic show as a fun way to show children the magic and wonder contained in a book. Who's ready to make a new friend?!
