Sand Point Park

**The entire playground at Sand Point Park will be temporarily closed beginning on March 10, 2025 due to the removal of the existing 2-12 playground structure and the installation of a new one.

This popular 29.88-acre community river park on the Indian River is a perfect place for family gatherings, special events, and exercising with a view.

Athletic and fitness facilities include large lighted multi-use field, a paved bicycle pedway, and a 0.66-mile exercise trail that meanders through open and shaded areas. A variety of picnic tables / shelters, benches and small pavilions are present throughout the park and surround the playground (with accessible play structures). The Valicenti Pavilion is over 2,000 sq. ft. with a capacity of 750 people. Also present are restrooms, a 1-lane motorized boat ramp, and plenty of space for shoreline fishing.
